Four arrests have been made after trouble in the West Ham section at Old Trafford following their 1-0 loss to Manchester United.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said a 33-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a rescue worker.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunken and disorderly behavior, possession of cocaine and common assault, with a 22-year-old man arrested on suspicion of launching missiles and a 23-year-old man arrested on suspicion of a breach of public order.
Greater Manchester Police added: “Two other men have been arrested and will be summoned at a later date for football-related offences.”
West Ham are investigating reports of problems after the game.
Hammers fans received an allocation of 3,173 tickets for the Premier League game.
Marcus Rashford was Manchester United’s hero as his stoppage time goal saw them beat West Ham 1-0 and leap above the Hammers in fourth.
