Video footage showed City supporters brawling with stewards inside the north London arena at the final whistle.

The Etihad club were rocked after Son Heung-Min’s second-half goal sealed Nuno Espirito Santo’s victory.

And disgruntled City fans attempted to jump over barriers inside the ground as they collided with a heavy security presence.

The clash came after a group of City supporters shamefully chanted ‘Sancho and Rashford have let the country down’ before kick-off.

Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford both missed penalties in England’s Euro 2020 final loss to Italy.

Bukayo Saka also failed to hit the target at Wembley in heartbreaking scenes.

But all three players were later subjected to shameful racial slurs.

There has since been a huge show of public support for the brave Three Lions trio.

Yet some City fans still decided to target Man United duo Sancho and Rashford on Sunday, chanting that they had let the nation down with their misses.

The City fan actions came a day after Leeds supporters chanted the same song at Old Trafford.

However, United had the last laugh by beating their rivals 5-1 at the Theater of Dreams.
