Football Fans – Town of Duncanville, Texas, USA

One of the best things about fall is the football season. It’s fun to sit in the bleachers in the crisp fall air on Friday night supporting your favorite high school team. The group, cheerleaders, student section and families of players wearing the school colors and cheering on their team add to the excitement. My three nephews played football in high school and it was a pleasure to watch them play.

College game day Saturday can keep you glued to the TV all day. Predicting college rankings and watching them change every week is part of the action. I grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and my family would walk with the group to Red Raider Stadium and watch Texas Tech enter the field.

Watching the Cowboys on Sundays is fun again! I’ve been a staunch fan since the 1970s, so I witnessed the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Tailgating before a Thanksgiving game with my whole family to celebrate my parents’ 50th birthdaye birthday is a precious memory.

If you’re like me and can’t get enough of football, we have a lot of football inspired TV shows and movies.
