Near Wild Heaven

Song available on Out Of Time.

Whenever we hold each other
We hold each other
There's a feeling that's gone
Something has gone wrong
And I don't know how much longer I can take it
House made of heart break it
Take my head in your hands and shake it
in this near wild heaven
Not near enough.

Living inside
Living inside
Near wild heaven

Whatever it takes I'm giving
It's just a gift I'm given
Try to live inside
Trying to move inside
And I always thought that it would make me smarter
But it's only made me harder
My heart thrown open wide
In this near wild heaven
Not near enough.

Living inside
Living inside
Near wild heaven

I'm holding my hands together
I'm holding my feet together
I'm holding myself together
In this near wild heaven
Not near enough

Such a happy song with such sad lyrics. Great contrast.

By Doug Passionate and brilliant!

Saw the guys at Madison Sq Garden last week after flying 3,500 miles - a dream trip and totally worth it! This one left me speechless!

By Edward Thomas This song is beautiful, but so different! It seems to me that someone other than Michael is singing the lead, or that they are all singing together. Does anyone know why it sounds this way? Please forgive me if I've asked a really stupid question.

By Birdy Birdy: the reason this song sounds different is because Mike Mills took over as the lead singer for this song.

As for the song itself, it isn't their best work, but it's still pretty good. A nice, simple, happy, upbeat song. Kudos to Mills for doing a great job as the lead singer.
